Charlotte County Habitat for Humanity receives $8,297.75 from the Barbara and Henry Haug Fundcharlotte-cty-habitat-for-humanity

Barbara Haug passed away in March 2007.  Barbara and her husband, Henry’s legacy live on in yearly disbursements from the Barbara and Henry Haug Fund held at the Charlotte Community Foundation.  Barbara and Henry Haug moved to Florida in 1987.  Barbara was a nurse at Fawcett Hospital and Henry taught adult education and auto mechanics to students at Port Charlotte Middle School.

Every year, the Charlotte County Habitat for Humanity receives a 4% distribution from the fund.   This year, Charlotte Community Foundation is thrilled to award to the Charlotte County Habitat for Humanity a check in the amount of $8,297.75.
