Mary Byrski has her own law firm, Byrski Estate and Elder Law and is a Board Certified Elder Law Attorney.  Mary was born in Flint, Mich., and graduated from Michigan State University with a B.A. in Communication/Political Science. At Michigan State University, she also received an M.A. in Labor and Industrial Relations. She received her Juris Doctorate degree from Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law. Additionally Ms. Byrski spent a summer at University of Stockholm, in Stockholm, Sweden, studying labor management relations and spent a summer at Jagiellonia University in Krakow, Poland, studying international law.

She is a former Board Member of the Charlotte Local Education Foundation (Past President of Board); Former Board Member of the Virginia B. Andes Volunteer Community Clinic; Past President of the Business and Professional Women of Charlotte County (from 2006-2008); a graduate of the Leadership Charlotte Class of 2005; and previously served on the Endowment Advisory Council of the Charlotte Community Foundation.

Ms. Byrski is a member of the National Association of Florida Elder Law Attorneys, Academy of Florida Elder Law Attorneys, Life Care Planning Law Firms Association, Association of Florida Elder Law Attorneys, Charlotte County Estate Planning Council, The Florida Bar, Charlotte County Bar, Punta Gorda Chamber of Commerce, Charlotte County Chamber of Commerce and Visual Arts Center of Charlotte County.

She resides in Punta Gorda with her daughter Emily.
