Strategic Planning Workshop

2 Thursdays – June 8 and June 15 (9:00 – noon)

This workshop will provide a well-defined and comprehensive process for nonprofits to use when developing their strategic plans. Attendees should include the Executive Director (or equivalent), Board Chair, and other interested Board members. Please plan to attend both sessions to gain full benefit from the workshop.

Topic areas will include:

  • What are an organization’s shared values and how do they relate to the mission and purpose?
  • What are the key current trends that will impact an organization now and in the future?
  • Based on identified shares values and tends, what is the organization’s vision for the next five years?
  • What are the goals, objectives, strategies and priorities that will propel the organization forward?

The workshop will be led by Dr. Robert (Bob) Peterson, a local resident with over 30 years of international consulting firm experience following a successful career in higher education and business management.

$30 per participant for both days; includes refreshments, light snacks and materials.
