The Boys & Girls Clubs of Charlotte County’s mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Charlotte County offers a variety of programs in the areas of education, career development, health and wellness, the arts, and leadership. Their programs engage young people in meaningful ways, foster their creativity and curiosity, and equip them with the skills and confidence they need to succeed in school and beyond.

In Charlotte County, young people face BIG challenges, including:

Food Insecurity – 1 in 5 kids go hungry at night/ live in food insecure homes.
Abuse & Neglect- Charlotte County ranks 3rd in the state of Florida in reported cases of child abuse and neglect.
Academic Failings- 31% of third grade youth cannot read at grade level.
Poverty- 1 in 6 children live in poverty.

Kids spend 80% of their time out of school, and how they spend that time matters. Through mentorship, safe places, & life-enhancing programs, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Charlotte County does whatever it takes to support youth!
